Episode: Tanks for the Memories
Parvati Shallow announced that she had written a memoir covering her upbringing in a Hindu commune, her move to Los Angeles, and her experiences on Survivor, and she urged listeners to purchase and read it.
Carbity, you have a book. What's it called? Nice Girls Don't Win, How I Burned It All Down to Claim My Power.
I've written a memoir. It starts at my childhood. I grew up in a commune, a Hindu spiritual commune run by a very charismatic, very controlling guru. It goes through my whole life story--moving to LA, getting cast on Survivor, playing Survivor multiple times.
I want people to take away from my story something that helps you in your life. I deep, deep, deep excavated my soul for this book. So I really hope you'll buy it, read it, and enjoy it.
Everybody get Parvati's book.
