I kind of had a little bit of that imposter syndrome, even though before that was a popular term when I wrote the book. And ultimately what motivated me to do it was because I really wanted people to know how I survived, so I leaned into being vulnerable and laid it all out.
When I got a call from the agent it was like, hey, you're on the New York Times bestseller list. That was the ultimate moment for me.
