It was described as a fantastic book and a great read, focusing on honor as a key Stoic concept and its relevance to modern society. The author discussed the challenges of writing public philosophy and the importance of choosing projects with personal connection.
So I'm fascinated with this concept of honor. And I think it pertains, as you'll see in our conversation, to where we are today.

And I think the deficiency of that is obviously explains a lot of the problems we're having as a society and as a world these days.
The only reason to study philosophy is to become a better person. I think Tamler's work helps you do that.
