He's got a new book out. I got it right here for those of you watching at home. It's called the war on Warriors pretty fantastic book

The book is called the war on warriors. It's probably got the Pentagon running for the hills you are probably on a most wanted list in the Pentagon now because it's a pretty stunning indictment Pete of our military and readiness

The book is not how the military went woke the book is how the military allowed itself to go woke It was brass and leadership who laid down to civilians with left-wing Marxist views pushed into the military and they didn't do anything about it, man They didn't do anything about it. And now we're dealing with the consequences

I heard a theme and message that's very consistent with a book that he wrote prior to taking this position that he has touted, continued to tout.

You might say we're ending the war on warriors. I heard someone wrote a book about that.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote in his book War on Warriors that Brown should be fired because he was pushing diversity programs and also wondered whether Brown got the top job because of the color of his skin or his skill.

And the book that has been referenced multiple times here, The War on Warriors, I spent months talking to activeduty service members, men and women, low ranks, high ranks, combat arms and not combat arms, and what each and every one of them told me, and which personal instances have shown me, is that in ways direct, indirect, overt, and subtle, standards have been changed inside infantry training units, ranger school, infantry battalions, to ensure that commanders meet quotas to have a certain number of female infantry officers or infantry enlisted.

If you listen to his book, War on Warriors, he's seen it all.

Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, wrote in his book, The War on Warriors, that came out, I think, last year, that basically he questioned whether C.Q. Brown, African-American, got the job because of his race or because of his skill.

And again, Hegseth in his book said C.Q. Brown with that was playing the race card.

Well, folks need to know that without a capable military, we're not free.

And I joined and served in military that I love that was lethal, that was based on meritocracy, that existed for 20 years to try as best it could to defeat extremism. And now that very same military is identifying people like me, and I tell that specific story in the book, as extremists.

So it's not a good story, book. And it's something that's not just the military, it's the CIA, it's other institutions are facing this too.

And now that very same military is identifying people like me, and I tell that specific story in the book, as extremists.

So political ideologies have captured the top of our Pentagon and that's proliferated throughout the institution and it's made our ranks less accountable. It's lowered the standards, they're less prepared, commanders are walking on eggshells, and as a result, they're less capable.

And so it's not a good story, Buck, and it's something that's not just the military, it's the CIA, it's other institutions are facing this too, but it's something that can be reversed. And I wanted to sound the alarm on it now in the hopes that we can right the ship.
