They were attacked stone beheaded But basically violently beaten over and over again You know and I think to myself and I think you probably think too like we've led pretty easy lives I mean if the worst that's gonna happen to me and you is that somebody goes Oh, look at these clowny Jesus lover guys, but that's nothing like you're not gonna be hung upside down No one's gonna stone you in public and that's why Kirk when I hear guys like you it's so refreshing But that's why I'm so disappointed in other people with a platform like yours Famous people in Hollywood and sports who don't come out when the Dodgers Celebrate these this this vile group insulting Christianity and say you know what? I'm not gonna be martyred for this. I'm no hero, but I'm not tolerating this today. I'm not playing today's game I'm sorry, there should be more of you

It's designed to coincide with Pride Month. And you point out correctly, hello, pride is actually a sin, not something to be celebrated for a month or a season.

Well, it you're right. In fact, it's the it's the deadliest of the dead of the seven deadly sins. I like to say that, you know, gluttony and greed is bad and and sloth, wrath, envy and lust is not something you want to teach your kids. But pride is the pregnant mother that gives birth to all other forms of evil.

And pride is ultimately about self. It separates us from other people. Pride separates us from God. And what I think we want to teach our kids is how to be humble and kind, how to put others before themselves.

It's not an anti gay book. It's not an anti LGBTQ community book. It's just saying, look, if you really want to have relationships and a world that is thriving and being blessed and protected, go with humility, not pride.

It's a terrible message and it has to be stopped.
