And you know the people in power over us and the government and politicians works it works out great for them because the more divided we are the more easy it is for them to gain power and control.

Issues are often complex and people always are. And the way we talk about this stuff doesn't reflect that at all.

I've wanted to write a book like this for a long time.

I had a book that I wrote last year that came out, but I got the idea that this could be a book actually while I was on the tour for my first book, because I really saw with my own eyes going to all these different places, meeting all these different kinds of people while I was on the road all around the country, just how much we really do have in common.

I'm hoping that at the very least, it makes people feel OK to have conversations, that it makes people feel like they can say, hey, I know that my whole thing is that I'm super left wing, but I didn't really like this policy or I didn't really like this thing this politician said, or hey, I know my whole thing is that I'm conservative or I'm Republican. I didn't like this thing that Trump said or this DeSantis said.
