Yeah. So in early, I think 2018 or gosh, I can't remember anymore. Twenty seventeen. Who knows anymore? I wrote a book called the UFO People, and it was it's a book about the UFO subculture as a sort of collective group that sort of has a very similar belief system ideological framework, whatever.
And I really wanted to suss out why do people believe in UFOs? Like what's going on here and how does it impact our culture and our society? So the book is sort of like a subcultural analysis of the UFO community.
You talk about how this book set you on a trajectory that in a very real way led to our conversation today. But could you tell us what inspired you to set about writing the work like writing the actual book?
