Bill Burr found Pete Holmes's book, "Comedy God", to be engaging and well-written, particularly enjoying the sections about Holmes's religious upbringing and his journey into stand-up comedy.
It was actually a lot of what I was skimming reading was a lot of it was about like him being brought up in religious and religion overly religious and getting into stand-up and I read a couple of chapters of His book and I was trying to find to see if he had mentioned the first time I ever worked with him
But I actually read the part where his marriage first marriage fell apart, man That fucking guy's a great writer.
So check out that book if you get a chance.
