I had this feeling that I was just going crazy because a couple years earlier, everyone was talking about revolution.
And then in a couple years later, it just felt like everyone had kind of decided to sideline that, ignore it, and pretend like it didn't happen because they were embarrassed by the fact that nothing changed.
I think that the events of 2020 indicated very deep and very real problems with our country, and that those problems need to be met effectively, and that didn't happen in 2020.
And if you take those problems seriously, you have to ask, how can we do this better in the future? And that's what the book is all about.
