I wish I could take credit for the term country class and ruling class but I can't...this terminology goes back to a fairly well known essay in 2010 from the late great clear monster Angelo Cohen Bella...where he kind of coined this this dichotomy this taxonomy between the ruling class and the country class.

If something as as basic as the American flag itself...if you are proud of this country...you are probably whether you realize it or not part of the country class.
